Condition
Labels: 1 VERY GOOD + 2. EXCELLENT
As you can see a name has been written on the 'Love Me Do' label, but apart from that, both are clean & bright.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both surface are bright & glossy with just a few light marks and hairlines in strong daylight but nothing I would call a scratch. Numerous wispy paper hairlines are visible directly under halogen light but again, no major blemishes. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: VERY GOOD
Despite frequent play, the sound on both sides is clean and clear with a warm & deep bass and no major deterioration to the sound quality. My careful play-check at volume detected a hint of light background but no, jumps, repeats or any other major audible faults.
Cover: GOOD
Slightly faded with some stains and a small tear to the centre hole on one side.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover. All text & images © Bright Field Music 2008
