My name is Rob and as my 100% feedback shows I am an avid collector as opposed to a seller.
My two passions are, anything related to the Beatles both records and memorabilia and Gum cards, mainly from the 60's.
However over the years in my quest to build a top end collection I have accumulated many duplicates in both RECORDS & CARDS.
I have now decided to list back on Ebay some of these items, so please add me to your favourites list to keep an eye out for what is coming.
Now as stated I am a collector and not a seller and am proud of my 100% feedback record and wish to maintain it. So as not to disappoint I will describe these items to the best of my ability and will offer a full refund to anyone who is not satisfied with what I have stated. PROVIDING!! On offer here is one of the RAREST Beatles records you will ever see on ebay !!!! In all my years of collecting I have only ever seen THREE and this is one of them.
This is a Factory Sample copy of the incredibly rare Black Label Love Me Do. This record of course was first released on the Red Parlophone label which sold in vast quantities, but towards the end of it's run it was changed over to the Black Label on Parlophone so therefor was not sold in the same quantities as the Red Label.
Factory Samples were given to Record Executives, Musical Journalists and Radio DJ's. There were only 500 ever issued for each record and this is by far their RAREST !!!!! How many can there possibly be left in existence ????
This is the closest you will ever get to a DEMO without paying out "£ Thousands" I am only selling this record as I am lucky enough to have a Red & White Demo and I need to fund a serious record I am after.
CONDITION !!!!! I would be absolutely stunned if there was a better copy of this record in the world, it really is a beauty. Both the Labels are in NEAR MINT condition, I will NOT use the word mint alone because how can anything over 40 years old be mint ? Though I defy you to find a better copy. The RECORD retains it's full shine and has NOT been played more than a few times. There are absolutely no distortions anywhere when playing The run in and out grooves are incredibly silent with not even the merest hint of CRACKLE, Nothing but quietness.
The Matrix Numbers are Side 1: 7XCE-17144-1N. Side 2: 7XCE-17145-1N.
The Mother & Stamper Numbers are Side 1: At 9 oclock MPZT 1 and at 3 oclock RT. Side 2: At 9 oclock MPZT 1 and at 3 oclock RP. The also has KT stamped on side 2. All of this information denotes it as a genuine 1st Press.
I bought this record on ebay last year from a seller named Papieno, and she claimed that her husband bought it from an Ex EMI Executive many, many years ago and it has been in their collection ever since, I of course have no way of verifying this though I have no reason to doubt her word. I bought a few other records from her which I shall be keeping.
I paid a considerable amount of money for this record but will set no reserve and leave it in the lap of the gods. Though I PROMISE you will very, very RARELY see this record for sale again, and NEVER in this condition. So if you are a Mega Beatles Fan or just a Lover of 60's Music in general then this is a MUST HAVE for your collection.
I will also accept first time buyers as everyone has to start somewhere.
