UK 1964 1st PRESS EP
This NEAR MINT copy of their 1964 UK 1st pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8913
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in both run-outs only.
Housed in a front laminated, rounded bi-flipback 'Garrod' printed picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 822-1N & 7TCE 823-1N
Stamper codes: 2/GRO & 4/LO

A perfect 'as new' pair with no spindle marks or wear whatsoever to either centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate 'as new' deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with just a few barely visible wispy hairlines directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp. No need to upgrade this copy
Play: NEAR MINT
This barely, if ever unplayed copy sounds flawless from beginning to end. The sound quality is superb and is arguably the best sounding of all their UK EPs. You will not be disappointed.

EXCELLENT +
A clean, glossy & pure white example which look like it left the shops yesterday, let alone 46 years ago. The front panel is perfectly clean & white with just a faint, unavoidable inner-ring impression from the disc but no damage or wear to any corner or either opening edge. The rear panel is clean & unblemished with again, just a faint label ring impression but no other trace of wear whatsoever. You will not find a better example.
