Hello there, come on in and welcome to the auction!

As you can see from my 100% feedback, I sell with complete honesty and reliability. Above all things I am a record collector and music lover. I only sell records that I would want to receive. I know well the disappointment of receiving an over-graded record that turns up two weeks late. That is not the service you will receive here, so bid with total confidence. I don’t sell a lot of records because I spend a lot of time carefully finding, grading and listing them and do not like to rush this process, as many sellers must do to be able to sell 100 records a week!

I am mostly a collector of old time music, pre-war blues and folk, so buy job-lots that often contain rare records that aren’t to my taste so to ebay they go!

Here we have a lovely example of an original 1st pressing, from 1970 on the iconic split apple label, with the uber-rare red apple sleeve!

Dark green label with an image of an apple on side 1 and sliced apple on side 2. First label variation has “An E.M.I. Recording” text on two lines and small “33 1/3?.

Publishing year printed with small copyright symbol (p).

Full laminated cover with a red Apple logo on the back.

To find a red apple 1st press of Let it Be is rare but in this unplayed condition is unheard of!!

Sleeve Condition.

The 1st print fully laminated G&L outer sleeve is in really stunning condition!  There are no rips or damage to mention!  The wording on the spine is perfectly readable and is lovely and straight.  All the edges are straight and crisp with only mild storage wear.  The colours are as vibrant as they were on the day of release with only a light thumb crease to front.   There is only VERY mild ringwear to the rear only!!  It’s a really really nice example that won’t disappoint! A solid Excellent sleeve!

Inner Condition.

The 1st press plain inner is in great condition with no rips, tears, seam splits or writing! Superb!

Label Condition.

The 1st press split Apple labels are in fantastic condition.  There are no rips, writing or stains to mention.  Under a strong light only mild invisible spindles can be seen! Stunning and barely played!

Nr Mint

Vinyl Visual Condition.

The record looks great! It still retains its wonderful shine and lustre after all these years. There are no deep scratches, warping or dulling at all.  Under a strong light, only one nearly invisible hairline can be seen!  It’s that good!  I reckon this has seen the turntable maybe only once or twice ever!

Nr Mint

Vinyl Audio Condition.

The record sounds superb on all frequencies!  It’s a nice punchy and clear audio throughout! Just a mint perfect playback, there’s not much else to say!! The band has never sounded better with all the seperate instruments being easily seperable by the ear! There are no jumps, loud clicks, distortion or other unwanted noise!  Final Upgrade!

So there we have it.  One of the rarest and earliest presses of Let it Be with the Red Apple, in the best condition you are likely to ever see!! Final Upgrade Time!!
