This was the Beatles final album, released in 1970. As sold, the box set was in a thin cardboard box that was very flimsy and only opened with great difficulty. Unsurprisingly this flimsy cardboard container has not survived, and is not included in the sale.
LP Visual and Play
All 4 sides of the LPs have been not only visually examined, but also played on a quality deck and carefully listened to all the way through.
Side 1 - Visually graded EX- In normal light the vinyl looks excellent, with one light scuff and some surface scratching in the run-in groove at the start of the first track. These cannot be heard during play. On inspection in extremely strong oblique light there is some surface rubbing, but most people will not see this. Play graded EX- no hops, no jumps, no sticks, no ticks or clicks. Light background dust noise in some of the quiet gaps between tracks and a little crackle at the start of track 5.
Side 2 - visually graded VG+ some light circular surface scratches in tracks 3 and 4 . From these marks I heard just one single light click during play, near the start of track4. Play graded VG++ no hops/jumps/sticks etc but some light background noise in the quiet gaps between some of the tracks,
