PCS 7096 Stereo Apple records Matrix 3U/2U
Release date 1970
Dark Apple label format with E M I recording credits. Excellent+/nr mint - condition . Hardly any spindle trace visible.
Vinyl
Thick cut, heavyweight pressing with a STUNNING sheen . 160 grams and a glorious feel to this vinyl . Excellent visual. One or two light surface marks/2 faint scratches observed if angled against a strong light . Any surface marks disappear beneath its staggering sheen! A fine exhibit!
Album cover
Sleeve fully laminated first issue sleeve with green Apple logo on reverse face! Garrod & Lofthouse printed Excellent condition. No tears nor rips nor any major damage. Minor lower right crease to the laminate on reverse otherwise very little to fault.
Audio
A phenomenal delivery with little to fault . Clear channels deliver sensational tones for most of playback. Loud cut engineering reigns supreme on this early issue and enjoys mostly excellent channels. Couple of solitary faint ticks (from two light scratches) during first track side 1, that hardly interfere with the music presentation. Mega tracks on this one-Let it Be, Long and Winding road, Get Back and many more magnificent classic songs from the best band in the history of popular music .
A remarkable exhibit , found rarely COMPLETE with ultra rare INSERT of Apple flyer and full gloss colour poster(thick card manufacture) ! Real treat for Beatles’/60’s/70’s collectors!
