Description

For your consideration; A ONE OWNER, very rare, very clean, first pressing,  The Beatles Let it Be 1970 UK Complete Box Set. this very collectable set was purchased by a Western New York resident in late May of 1970, weeks after the May 8th release of this wonderful set. This set is completely original, no parts of it has been replaced with any repro parts. The Lp was was played, sparingly, on a AR XA turntable with a Shure m44 cart.

This true first pressing, May 8th, 1970 features the Red Apple on the back cover issued until December when it was changed to a Green Apple.

A great 55 year old example of one of the most iconic LP’s in rock music history.

• Disc conditionVG +++ This iconic Lp sounds fantastic, no skips, groove rash, loud pops or “Rice Crispys.” Just a great clean playing example. The vinyl is flat to the deck, no dishing or warping to it. Clean and crisp Apple labels with just light traces of spindle wear.

• Sleeve conditionVG ++ Laminated glossy sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse.

Box condition: VG  Garrod & Lofthouse printed fully laminated outer cardboard wrap. The inner tray is also great condition, just a few tiny tears at each corner edge that holds the book in place. The LIB softback book is also in nice condition, no tears, but some pages are loose.
