1970 UK 'PXS 1' *BOX SET*

This 100% original UK 'PXS 1' manufactured set comprises:

• Fully laminated outer slip-case
• Both original inner & outer card trays
• The glossy soft-back 'Get Back' book containing exclusive pictures & transcripts from the recording of the album.
• The 'Let It Be' LP with -2U/-2U matrices & red Apple logo on the rear cover.


All of the above components are original 1970 items (no reproductions) and appear here as originally purchased.


CONDITION


Outer Slipcase

EXCELLENT

An extremely respectable example which remains strong, glossy & in-shape with just a few light laminate wrinkles from the edges but no significant damage or wear. The exposed outer edges are all clean & sharp with just a few tiny fleck of missing paper towards the front lower right edge but no tears to any. The rear panel is clean & glossy with just a few inevitable light scratches from storage but no major blemishes. Both the upper & lower edges are clean & unworn.

Trays

Outer: VERY GOOD


Complete and in-shape but with just a few light creases to the rounded fold-over flaps, together with some light wear consistent with removal from the slipcase but no tears or any major faults.

Inner: EXCELLENT +


A superb example of this, the most delicate component of the set. All parts are present and still in-shape with just tiny stress tears to three corners but no other damage or wear to any part.

Book

EXCELLENT +

A fine clean & complete copy which retains its high-gloss jacket where the only sign of wear is a small bend to the lower right corner but no 'thumbnails' front or rear. All pages are inside are still attached to the binding and are clean & undamaged with none loose or missing. The spine is 'un-cracked' & fully worded.

Housed in a fully laminated, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a red Apple logo on the reverse.

Complete with original plain white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-2U

Stamper codes: 1,6/OG & 2,1/HL

Disc weight: 140g


LP CONDITION

Labels: EXCELLENT

A clean & undamaged pair with numerous light spindle marks around each centre hole but no major faults.

Visual: VERY GOOD

Clean & glossy surfaces which bear several light marks and scratches in strong daylight, but nothing deep or 'feelable'. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals numerous light, wispy hairlines consistent with frequent play but no major blemishes.

Play: VERY GOOD +

This copy has been played many times but apart from some light background between tracks and an occasional light tick, there is little to fault overall.

Cover

VERY GOOD

A clean & correct example with some moderate storage rubbing to the laminate with light corner & opening edge wear. However, there is no creasing to either panel and both seams and the spine are undamaged.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT

Clean & white with just a few gentle storage bends.
