READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Beatles LP “Yesterday”…and Today SCARCEST 1971 Apple All Caps Text Layout, NM!

Collectors know that Apple titles issued between 1968 through 1971 had both all-caps as well as case-sensitive font on the album labels.  But not many know this variation of the “Yesterday”…and Today LP.  Most variations of the all-caps labels have large, bold lettering.  See compere photo. 

This layout and font is reminiscent of the previous Capitol labels on the black “Subsidiary of…” and the green Target labels, but it isn’t quite a Straight Transfer.  Pretty close, though.  See compere photo.

Vinyl--- NM/NM.  Both sides shine brand new, exactly like it did when it left the mint!

Plates--- W6/W6.  Hand-etched Delta symbol (or rifle) in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Winchester.

Cover--- EX.  Cover looks really nice.  Also very structurally solid.  Very light dirtwear and ringwear on each side.  The only issue of note is that the top right and bottom right corners have ¼-inch splits.  Very small.  See photos.

Labels--- NM/NM.  Beautiful labels.  They both look like they were just printed this morning.  NO SPINDLE MARKS.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- VG+.  Some wrinkling from improper insertion at the factory.  Some light yellowing.  NO SEAM SPLITS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: 16

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
