PLEASE NOTE:  This week and possibly next, I will be listing on Saturday afternoons, as there is work being done on my place.  I’ll have no internet access from home, so I will have to use the computer facilities of the local library.  I will still be shipping on Mondays and Thursdays. ---Thanks!

Beatles LP Magical Mystery Tour Apple Scarcer Label 1971 NM/EX

Vinyl--- Side 1 NM, looks unplayed.  Side 2 EX, with some light manufacturer’s defect.

Plates--- P1/ W2. (Apparently, this might have been a small run.  I’ve only seen less than half a dozen of these, and they all have the exact same plate markings.)

                          Winchester pressing.

Cover--- Structurally solid VG.  Top edge has shelfwear, moderate ringwear, dirtwear.  Booklet is detached.  NO SPLITS.

Labels--- NM labels look brand new.  This variation uses a completely different typeset, which includes the use of both upper and lowercase characters.  Compare photos.  MOST other Apple pressings through the 1975 “All Rights” variations use typeset that features all caps.

While this isn’t the scarcest Apple label variation, it is definitely one of the harder ones to find in clean condition.  If you don’t believe me, start looking for one.

Inner Sleeve--- Generic white.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
