Beatles LP MONO Jolly What! The Beatles and Frank Ifield on Stage 1964 EX/NM!

READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

So with that said…

Still in the shrinkwrap, this scarce LP is probably the best copy I’ve ever seen.

Vinyl--- EX/ NM. This copy is the closest one I’ve ever seen to NM.  Looks 99% 1964-brand new.  The dead wax on Side 1 has some sort of mark that doesn’t affect play, it just looks weird.  Side 2 has one light, thin scuff that you can’t feel with your fingertip.  Otherwise, the LP looks brand new.

Plates--- Dead wax on both sides has the following five markings necessary to make this a legitimate Monarch pressing copy:

1.   Audio Matrix stamp

2.  “MR” in a machine-stamped circle

3.   Initials “URJ” hand-etched

4.   Delta symbol hand-etched before the catalogue   number

5.   Date “1-18-64” lightly hand-etched.

Cover--- EX.  Last track on back cover is listed as "IListen To My Heart," no spacing between the first two words.  Has the dark purple background of the original pressing, rather than the black background of the counterfeit.  Has clear, bold spine text as well.

Original shrinkwrap is present, but barely hanging on.  Top seam of the shrink has split.  Some shrink missing from the back.  Original price tag is still affixed, which is the only reason I kept it.  The cover has been very well-protected and preserved.  All seams are muscular strong and gorgeous.  Only the very occasional extreme tiny split in just the slick, but not the seam, most likely from nearly 60 years’ worth of existing.  Front cover has such extremely little wear, presents as brand new.  Back cover has light yellowing, but still retains a new look.

And of course, everybody’s favorite shout out to the “copulation” comment on the back cover.

Labels--- NM/EX. Side 1 label is flawless perfect.  Side 2 label has some wear at the bottom.  See photo.  Also has ONE very light spindle mark.  Otherwise perfect label.

Vee Jay Inner Sleeve--- VG.  Original Vee Jay inner sleeve is present and in good condition.  There is a bottom center seam split of about 1 ½ inches.  One top corner has a wrinkle.  Otherwise nice.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original inner sleeve en route.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
