READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP Anthology 2 1996 PROMO Sampler Only 300 Copies Pressed, NM!

I haven’t a clue as to why Apple even bothered with a run that small, but there it is.  This copy is stunning.  It has also never been on a turntable.  I’m the original owner.  This copy was presented to me by my DJ friend, Dynamic Don Emerick, the same man who traded me for those promo Anthology 45’s sold a few weeks back.

Vinyl--- NM/ NM.  Both sides look like they were just pressed this morning.

Plates--- G1/ G1.  “Mastered by Capitol” deeply machine-stamped into both sides.

Cover--- NM, both sides.  Absolutely full-gloss on the front, extremely little wear to the top center on the back.  Very faint record outdent.  All seams are completely muscular-strong, spine is sharp, print is bold.  A stunner.

Labels--- NM/ NM. 

Inner Sleeve--- Issued with a generic white inner sleeve.  See photo.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
