READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Definitely one of the toughest label variations to begin with, but this is one of the hardest titles to find in order to complete your run.  Go ahead and search for one in the week that you have before this copy ends!

Vinyl--- EX/EX.  Just one or two very light angel hairs per side that you’ll have to tilt toward the light to see.  Nice copy!

Plates--- A5/A29.  Refreshed plates!  Letter “O” in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Jacksonville.

Cover--- VG.  Both sides have light to moderate yellowing and dirtwear.  But what knocks this cover down a full grade is that the bottom seam is so neatly taped that I never noticed it until right now.  In fact, the tape job is so neatly done that it doesn’t look like it were possible for a human to have done it.  Looks like it was machine-pressed, but regardless, a tape job is a tape job.

Labels--- NM/EX.  Side 1 looks beautiful-brand new.  Side 2 label has a few short, light spindle marks, and that’s all.  Obviously, the previous owner only ever played Side 1!

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- EX.  Generic white inner sleeve with die-cut hole for the labels to show is present.  Surprisingly, this inner sleeve shows just a slight amount of yellowing.  Usually, these sleeves are newspaper by this time.  Keep this one out of the light.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: N/A

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
