READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Beatles LP 1975 Help! Toughest “All Rights” Variation, Los Angeles

One might think that the scrolling text version is the toughest.  But for the time it took me to find an upgrade, this one surely gave me a hard time!

It’s the “All Rights” variation with the disclaimer on two lines at the bottom of the label on side 1, 5 lines in the right shoulder of the sliced Apple on side 2.

Yever see one?

Vinyl--- EX/ EX.  Side 1 is NM, with the exception of a very small dig, about 1/8th of an inch in the last track, “In the Tyrol.”  (As if you’d listen to that track anyway…)  It does create a tic for about three rotations.

Side 2 is NM, but has a barely perceptible line through the first two tracks that you must tilt the LP into a light source to see at all.  It’s due north of the Apple stem.  My camera couldn’t pick it up.

Plates--- F15/ F16.  Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.

Cover--- VG.  Light, uniform yellowing.  Small stain at the top on the back.  Top seam has shelfwear, and a section that looks like rodent chew.  Well, don’t look at me, I didn’t do it!  Bottom seam and spine are muscular-strong.

Labels--- NM/ NM.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Generic white.

If this is the first one you’ve ever seen, it’s going to be the last one for a long time to come.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
