Accurate Description of this RARE Factory Sample:

This is a GENUINELY Rare and UNIQUE opportunity to purchase an official **FACTORY SAMPLE** for The Beatles FIRST 1962 UK Single 'Love Me Do/PS I Love You'.

In STUNNING condition, this Original 1962 UK 1st Issue Factory Sample Vinyl 45 is on the RED Parlophone Label with 'The Parlophone Co Ltd'.... label rim, and 'Recording First Published 1962' label text and with 'Made in Gt Britain' printed on both sides of the record labels. The official Pointed End, White with red print factory sample sticker can be seen on the Side 1 label and reads 'FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE'. The Factory Sample comes in its original and correct Wavy Lined Parlophone Bag.

Official Dead Wax Matrix and Stamper information:

The stamped matrix number in the trail out groove on Side 1 is 7XCE 17144-1N, side 1 stampers are 'MPZT1, 'RR'. The Side 2 Matrix is 7XCE-17145-1N, side 2 stampers are 'MPZT1' 'RG'. The embossed 'PT' Tax code is visible on the side 1 record label.

Grading Assessment

Both sides of the Record Labels are in SUPER CLEAN **near mint** condition, the record labels are Incredibly RICH and Vivid, with NO Fading or deterioriation, showing just a few very faint spider marks. Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are again in SUPER PRESERVED **near mint** condition - the Vinyl is STUNNING and it is hard to believe that it was issued 44 years ago! The Correct and Original Wavy Lined Parlophone Sleeve is a Clean and Respectable example, showing just a litle light inevitable creasing.

Play Quality:

The playing quality is also IMPRESSIVE - both sides play extremely well without any skips, jumps, or distortion, with just a little light background crackle. The 45 sits 100% flat on the turntable with NO dishing or Warping.
