1968 UK 2nd PRESSING 45
**ULTRA-RARE LABELS**
One of the commonest of The Beatles' 45s in first pressing format, this is an extremely rare 2nd pressing was produced in extremely small quantities in late 1968/early 1969 shortly before the deletion of the 'Sold in UK..' label text in August 1969.
This rare copy of a UK 2nd pressing is on the UK black & silver Parlophone label: R 5084
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co..' rims.
The 1968 'KJT' tax/price code is visible on side 1 label.
Complete with an original 'Type 8' green & white Parlophone Company sleeve.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17559-1N & 7XCE 17560-1N
Stamper numbers: 18/MLR & 17/MTR

Visual: EXCELLENT
Clean & glossy surfaces bearing just a few small, light fingernail marks in strong daylight but no scratches or other major faults.
Some light paper hairlines are visible directly under a halogen desk lamp, but no further wear is.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
Carefully and not overplayed, the sound is still crisp and clear with no background crackle or groovewear distortion on either side.
Both run-ins play without intereference & there are no clicks or pops or any other significant audible faults anywhere.
