'HELP!'

1967 UK **STEREO** 2nd PRESSING LP

This 1967 second pressing can be identified by the asterisk * on the side one label which comes before the 'I Need You' title. On first pressings it came after.

This superb 1967 second stereo pressing is on the UK yellow & black Parlophone label PCS 3071
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a 'thin' card stock, front laminated, flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover.
Complete with original black & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper numbers: 2/OL & 4/AH

A small sticker has been removed from both labels (to the right of the spindle hole) - see photos.

Visual & Audio: NEAR MINT

Played carefully only a few times, the surfaces are bright and clean showing no marks or scratches even under intense direct light.
The sound is clear, clean and warm sound with absolutely no trace of groovewear/loud passage distortion in either channel.
There are no clicks/pops, jumps or repeats anywhere.100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.

Cover

EXCELLENT

The front panel is clean and unyellowed and retains its high gloss laminate with just a few light creases to the spine but no 'thumbnail' creases.
There is some extremely light bruising to the corners, but the opening edge is very clean, sharp and unworn..
The rear panel is very clean and white with no discolouration, marks or writing.
All flipbacks are intact, the spine clear and readable and all seams undamaged and unsplit.
