1965 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING LP
**EXCELLENT COPY**
This excellent 1965 first mono pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side one label.
Housed in a superb front laminated, tri-flipback Garrod & Lofthouse cover.
Complete with original 'Use Emitex' lined inner sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper numbers: 9/RTG & 2/RLA
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean, bright and unyellowed, this example which retains its high-gloss, unscratched front laminate bearing just a few light creases.
The corners display some light bruising but the opening edges are sharp, clean and unworn with no 'feathering' or tears on either side.
The rear panel is pristine white and clean with no writing, missing paper or discolouration of any kind.
The 'flipbacks', spine and seams are all in perfect shape with no stress, splits or other faults.

Bright, clean and glossy surfaces undulled by 'bag rash' careless handling or overplay.
There are only some feint sleeve removal hairlines visible under a halogen desk lamp but no scuffs or scratches.
Pressed on thick, heavy vinyl the disc lies 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Not often played, there is very little lessening of the sound quality.
There is 1 'click' on the side 2 run-in and very slight wear to 'Yesterday' but otherwise no crackle, groovewear distortion, jumps or repeats.
