UK 1965 1st *STEREO* PRESSING
This fine copy is the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3071Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper codes:: 3/T & 1/GA

Labels: EXCELLENT
Some spindle trails and light hole wear, but no major faults.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both surfaces are clean & glossy but bear numerous light fingernail scuff lines, mostly on side 1. However, these are not deep or feebable and do not affect sound quality or play.
Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals some wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no scratches or any other significant faults or wear.
Play: EXCELLENT
Although this copy has received frequent play, there is little or no deterioration to the sound quality throughout.
All tracks play cleanly and clearly with no groovewear distortion or any background noise - even on the delicate 'Yesterday'.
Both run-ins and all bands played without intereference & there are no clicks, pops or other such distractions elsewhere.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
A generally clean & bright example with some normal, light handling & storagwear but no major faults.
The front panel bears some minor toning and the impression of a small number '12', but is otherwise blemish-free.
All corners are undamaged and there is just some light wear to the rear opening edge.
The rear panel is overall clean & bright with just some faint foxing spots but no writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks are fully intact & undamaged and both seams & the spine are smooth, unstressed & undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Crisp, clean & white with no significant wear or faults.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp based on UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
