THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
1965 GERMAN *EXPORT* PRESSING LP
This rare LP comes from an outstanding collection of original worldwide rarities which I have the pleasure to list this week. Please take a look at my shop to see more discs from this collection.
This German pressed export edition for Switzerland dates from August 1965 and is on the red/white & gole Odeon label: SMO 84008
The disc is housed within a front laminated cover and is complete with its original inner-sleeve advertising other Odeon releases of the period.

Both are clean & bright with a small collection of spindle trails & a small smudge of the red ink just below the side 2 centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT -
Extremely clean surfaces which have lost none of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines. The only significant marks visible in strong daylight are some harmless inner-sleeve removal marks and one or two faint hairlines - there are certainly no deep or heavy marks anywhere. Close inspection directly beneath halogen light highlights some of the wispy hairlines but reveals no additional major blemishes. I have graded just short of 'Excellent' due only to the fact that there is a slight dish to the disc which is noticeable when playing side 2. However, this does not affect sound or play.
Play: EXCELLENT -
This copy has received a moderate amount of careful play but is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality. My careful play check at volume found some light background on 'Yesterday' and between some tracks but certainly nono clicks, pops or ticks or other such major fault.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
A strong & clean example with a bright, glossy and undamaged front panel laminate which apart from some light bending to the lower left corner displays no other significant signs of wear. There are no splits or tears to any of the corners and just a touch of wear to the opening edges, but no major damage. The rear panel is clean & unmarked and both seams and the fully worded spine are sll smooth, unstressed and unworn.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with just a touch of handling wear but no seams splits, tears or writing.
