Made in Germany by Optima: one 2014 mono limited edition pressing of the Beatles' HELP! album. Parlophone/EMI 33 1/3 RPM — PMC 1255
Still factory sealed with "The Beatles in Mono" sticker on the front of shrink-wrap. 180g vinyl record (LP) authorized by Apple/Universal. The copy I'm auctioning (the pictures above are of the actual item I am selling) is without any flaws: All four corners are perfect and sharp with no bumps or bending. The cover has no bends or ripples, no creases and all four edges are straight and clean. There is a reflection in my front-cover photo on the upper righthand edge—that is only a reflection—that area and the rest of the cover is pristine in every way. The shrink-wrap is solid with no tears or rips. The shrink is tight. This is a smooth, clean example. The much sought after vinyl album inside is obviously unplayed and in mint condition. Pressed at Germany's highly praised Optima vinyl pressing plant, this 2014 mono analogue series has become much sought after among Beatles' fans, collectors and audiophiles, all aware of the superior mastering done by using the original master tapes, AND using a completely analogue signal path. Not only that, the team (Sean Magee and Steve Berkowitz) referred to the actual notes made by the first cutting engineer in 1965's very first pressing of this classic soundtrack from the Beatles' second film. Great effort was put into the manufacturing of the vinyl and the cover, which replicates the original wrap-around flap cover style, uses high quality original artwork reproduction and overall high end production values throughout.
