THE BEATLES - 'A HARD DAY'S NIGHT (Extracts From The Film)'
The UK 1st pressing of thier 1964 4-track EP with songs taken from the film of the same name is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8920
A genuine red & white EMI 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker is adhered to the side 1 label.
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text and have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 832-1N & 7TCE 833-2N
Stamper codes: 1/R & 1/M
Housed in a rarer 'E.J. Day' printed front laminated, rounded bi-flipback picture cover.

A fine set with just a handful of tiny spindle trails to each slightly worn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean but do appear to have lost a little of their lustre but display no significant surface marks or wear in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a small number of harmless wispy hairlines but no significant marks or wear.
Play: EXCELLENT
This rarely played copy plays well and without any significant deterioration to the sound quality. In fact, apart from a touch of light background on some quieter passages and between tracks, there is little to fault overall.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A 1st class example of this scarce cover which retains a perfectly clean & high-gloss front panel with little more than a handful of tiny edge wrinkles. There are tiny rubs to the lower corners but no bumps or bruising to any and both opening edges bear no significant signs of wear. The rear panel is clean & bright with just two small blemishes but no writing or missing paper.
