THE BEATLES - 'A HARD DAY'S NIGHT (Extracts From The Album)'

The UK 1st pressing of their 1964 4-track EP with songs taken from the UK album of the same name is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8924

A genuine red & white EMI 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker is adhered to the side 1 label.

Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text and have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 1 label.

Matrix numbers: 7TCE 850-1N & 7TCE 851-1N

Stamper codes: 1/R & 1/M

Housed in a front laminated, pointed bi-flipback 'Garrod' printed cover.

A spectacular set with just two of three spindle trails to the side 2 centre hole, but none one 1.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Both playing surfaces are extremely clean and glossy and bear just two light, non-feelable hairlines on side 1 in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals no further marks or wear.

Play: EXCELLENT +

A great sounding copy which plays throughout with no traces of any groove/play wear or indeed any other noticeable audible faults.

Cover

EXCELLENT +

A superb example with an immaculate high-gloss front panel which bears little more than a faint, unavoidable inner ring impression. There are tiny rubs to the lower corner's extremities but both opening edges are sharp and unworn. The rear panel is extremely clean & bright with just a hint of storage rubbing, but no writing or any other such blemishes.
