THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
This wonderful sounding 1969 UK stereo pressing utilizes the same cutting as the 1964 1st pressing.
This rarer pressing bears the very first design of the '1-EMI box' Parlophone labels: PCS 3062
Unlike the later/standard design, both labels omit the '33 1/3' and 'STEREO' indicators.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper codes: 1,6/PM & 1,6/OT
Vinyl weight: 143g
Housed in a UK printed, outer laminated gatefold stereo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

A super clean set with just a handful of light spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate deep gloss playing surfaces, which apart from a thin/faint surface line on side 2, are as 'as new'.
Audio: MINT
Easily the best sounding of their early stereo LP, this barely played copy plays flawlessly throughout and will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean, fully intact example with a tiny nick to the upper edge of the front leaf but no further significant signs of wear.
Both inside panels are bright with no writing or missing paper and the rear panel is glossy and unworn.
There is minor wear to the spine tips but no splits to the delicate hinge or seams.
