THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
This great sounding early UK 1st STEREO pressing of their 1964 album is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK...' text with a 'KT' purchase tax code in the centre of the side 1 label.A genuine EMI 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker is adhered to the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper codes: 1/GT & 4/RM
Vinyl weight: 139g
Housed in an outer laminated stereo gatefold cover, complete with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy with the only significant blemishes being two small marks on the side 1 run-in.
Closer examination directly beneath halogen light reveals only some harmless wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve.
The audio throughout is superb with the only distraction being a few soft pops on the side 1 run-in.
A fully intact example with light to moderate shelfwear to the corners only.
The front leaf is clean & glossy with no 'thumbnail' winkles and only two small central spine bends.
Both inside panels are clean & unworn with no writing or missing paper either side.
The rear panel bears a light disc impression and some wear to its upper right corner but the delicate central hinge is intact.
The seams are intact and the spine lettering is present and readable.
