CONDITION
Cover
NEAR MINT
Due to its construction, this is the hardest UK cover to find in anything above EX and very few survive in this spectacular 'as new' condition. The delicate front leaf is perfectly flat, unbent & uncreased with a perfectly clean & unscratched high-gloss laminate. Every edge is clean, sharp and un-feathered and every corner is square and unbumped. The rear panel is easily its equal with no damage or rubbing to dull the laminate - not even a hint of ringwear is present. The covers only blemish which prevents are straight MINT grade is a tiny 5mm tear to the rear lower right corner hinge. Inside is immaculate and completely undamaged with no wear or tear to any part of the delicate central hinge. The spine is perfection itself - clean, white and square along its entire length, ending it factory pinched ends. Both seams of the rear pocket are smooth unstressed & unsplit. You will not find a better example than this. Please scroll right down for lots of detailed images from many angles.
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & bright pair with slight marking and wear to the centre holes but nothing significant.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surface are clean & free from any noticeable surface scuffs or scratches. There is slight 'bag rash' from inner-sleeve storage visible in strong daylight, together with some harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines but little else to suggest this copy has not been cherished. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp fails to reveal any further blemishes or wear to this quality, heavy copy which lies 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: EXCELLENT -
This fine copy has received a moderate amount of careful play and is without any major deterioration to the sound throughout. My careful play-check did detect slight background on 'No Reply' and a little peakwear on 'Mr Moonlight' but not really enough to spoil the enjoyment. There are no clicks, pops or any other further audible distractions on this well looked-after copy.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT +
Clean & crisp with a little faint storage wrinkling, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
