THE BEATLES: 'BEATLES FOR SALE' – ORIGINAL UK 1ST ISSUE **STEREO** LP - PCS 3062 - IN **AWESOME** CONDITION
With the Vinyl Disc in CRISP **close to mint** condition, we are very pleased to offer collectors an opportunity to purchase this SCARCE and **Original UK 1st Issue STEREO** Vinyl LP for The Beatles ‘Beatles For Sale’ Album.
The LP is on the Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd' label rim and With 'Sold in UK' and with ‘Recording First Published 1964’ label text. The Side 1 Matrix is YEX 142-1, and the side 2 Matrix is YEX 143-1. The side 1 stampers are: ‘4’, ‘ML’, and the side 2 stampers are: ‘1’, ‘ML’. The early ‘MT’ tax code is visible on the side 2 record label.
The Vinyl Disc comes in its original Lined Emitex Inner Bag and is housed in a Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse internal Flip Back Gatefold Sleeve, with large outline 'stereo' printed on the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve.
Both sides of the Record Labels and both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in AWESOME **close to mint** condition – FLAWLESS gleaming vinyl with barely any signs or wear or play to the spindle area or Vinyl Disc - SUPERB! The playing quality matches that of the visual grading, and the album plays beautifully without any skips, jumps or distortion. The inside and outside of the Laminated Gatefold sleeve is in GORGEOUS excellent plus condition – with bright vivid colours and mirror laminate, a FIRM pinched spine and respectable edges and corners. Please note that in scans 4 and 5 showing close up scans of the front and back of the sleeve you will see there is a slight change of shape to the top and bottom spine edge, this is not wear, it is actually where the spine is 'pinched' about an 1" from the top and bottom, then reverting to the actual straight contour of the spine.
This is a really CRISP example of this hard to find EARLY 1st Issue UK Beatles STEREO album – hard to believe that it is now some 40 years old!
