UK 1965 *1st PRESS* EP
The rare *SOLID CENTRED* disc is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8938
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label & in both run-outs.
Housed in it original front laminated, bi-flipback picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 874-1 & 7TCE 875-1
Stamper numbers: 2/RL & 2/RP

Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & undamaged pair with just minimal spindle marks to each centre-hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both surfaces are clean and bright with their deep gloss shines full intact with no significant marks or wear visible in strong daylight. Close & careful inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals just a few light hairlines light consistant with careful handling & play but no scratches or scuffs anywhere on this well looked-after copy.
Play: EXCELLENT
This rare variant has received just some careful, light play and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major audible faults. All tracks play clean & clearly with no groovewear or background noise or any clicks, pops or othersuch faults.
Cover
VERY GOOD
A respectable exmaple of this attractive cover with just normal handling & storagewear but no major faults. All corners and both opening edges are undamaged and apart from some unavoidable storagewear rubbing to the rear panel, there is little else to fault here. All seams are fully intact & undamaged.
