THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
This top sounding 1st German pressing dates from initial December 1964 release on the white, red & gold Odeon label: SMO 83790
Both labels bear the earliest 'Alle Rechte...' rim text wording.
Matrices: YEX 143-1 & YEX 143-1
Vinyl weight: 149g
Housed in a glossy slick on posterboard German printed cover with 'gold' wraparound 'stereo' sticker & poly-lined inner-sleeve.
Complete with a plain white, poly-lined inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
Both are clean & bright with spindle marks around each but no writing or missing paper.
Disc Visual: EXCELLENT
Clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing no noticeable marks or wear in strong daylight. Some light wispy marks consistent with careful sleeve removal and play beneath halogen light.
Disc Audio: EXCELLENT +
Only ever played on quality equipment, the sound quality throughout is clean, warm & clear with no traces of any groove/playwear distortion or any other interference. Aside from a little low-level vinyl background on the run-ins and between tracks, there is precious little to fault.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A fine clean, strong & fully intact example which retains an unscratched, unrubbed high-gloss front panel free from any 'thumbnail's or any other such wear. There is some bruising to the upper left corner and a touch of shelfwear to the lower two, but both opening edges are clean & unworn. The rear panel is clean, white and unblemished and both seams are the spine are smooth, unstressed & totally unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
