From the heyday of 1970s “Beatlegs,” here’s a vintage copy of the unofficial Beatles LP titled First U.S. Performance. Issued in the typical plain white cover with insert, which lists it as being made by Roman Records, but it was actually done by Wizardo Records, one of the more active and better-known companies producing Beatles boots back in the day. It has the standard generic Wizardo label with no song titles listed (as was the case with most of these early LPs).

The plain white is shrink wrapped (fully intact).

Condition of the vinyl is NM (Near Mint). There is a tiny white dot pressed into the vinyl on Side 2 (labeled as Side B) - a factory defect, but it doesn’t affect the playing of the LP at all.

The insert is NM, and the generic white cover has held up well, having been protected by the shrink wrap all these years.

Please keep in mind that this is NOT a studio quality recording, even by 70s standards - none of these unofficial releases were. It’s pretty much a collectors period piece. Ifyou weren’t around back then, it’s probably hard to imagine how excited Beatles collectors like myself got, every time we picked a new one and were able to hear something beyond the official releases. If you were, then you know what I mean.

The final pic shows all available details on this LP from reference books on Beatles boots: You Can’t Do That (Charles Reinhart, 1981); Do You Want To Know A Secret & Fixing A Hole (L.R.E. King, 1988 & 1989); Black Market Beatles (Jim Berkenstadt & Belmo, 1995); and The Beatles Not For Sale (Belmo, 1997).

Free domestic shipping via USPS Media Mail. Sorry, but for now I only ship within the lower 48 states. I strive to ship each item out the next business day after receiving payment -so far I haven’t missed one yet.

I package each item carefully and securely, just the way I’d want to receive it. For LPs and 45s - standard cardboard mailers and inserts for LPs & 45s, with non-sealed LPs/45ssafely packaged outside of the cover/picture sleeve to protect against seam splitting in transit. For non-vinyl pieces - always in a sturdy cardboard box, packed tight enough to keep the item from bouncing around inside the box during transit.

Any other questions... just ask. Thanks for looking, and please stay safe out there - Rick in TX
