The original record is Near Mythical with maybe as few as 20-25 copies in existence, offered here is a faithful reproduction that plays the correct 1962 Decca version of My Bonnie...
...when MGM re-released this single in 1964, they decided to edit out the introduction at the beginning of the song thinking it was too slow. Tony Sheridan starts the song out 'ballad style', before busting into the rocking version they we all know and love.
Only the original Decca version from 1962 has the slow ballad intro, and of course it is exactly what you are getting on the record!!
