HISTORY
Release Date: Recorded in 1969 and released in 1970 following production by Phil Spector.
LET IT BE is the Beatles last released studio album (although Abbey Road is the last album the Beatles recorded) containing great songs such as 'Let It Be', 'The Long and Winding Road', 'Get Back' and 'Across The Universe'.  Coinciding with the film release of the same name it also chronicles a time where the Beatles were at their most stretched with each other and on the verge of breaking up - never to reform as a living foursome.

This particular item has been issued with a rare TYPE B 'FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE' sticker meaning it would have been in the initial amount of pressings and reserved for promotional purposes by EMI - It could have been forwarded to friends, music colleagues, radio stations etc.  These stickered records are usually in a lot better quality than average and also are limited to possible 100 - 200 in total.  Because each sticker is individually placed - it makes each item unique.
After the test pressings were approved, and copies were run with the promo labels on them, the printer then loaded the machines with the proper labels for the disk's standard release. Then samples were taken from possibly each press machine making the records, and affixed with a sticker (red ink on white) and checked for quality. Except for the sticker, the disk is exactly as it will be when it is released.
