THE BEATLES - 'A COLLECTION BEATLES OLDIES'
This superb 1st UK MONO pressing dates from initial December 1966 release on the black & yellow Parlophone labels: PMC 7016
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK....' text and 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 619-1G & XEX 620-1G
Stamper codes: 1/MP & 1OD
Vinyl weight: 159g
Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patents Applied For..' inner-sleeve.

An immaculate pair which bear no more than two or three tiny spindle marks around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are completely unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight, with just some barely visible harmless wispy paper hairlines visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this outstanding copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing. Tough to find a better looking copy of this often over-played title.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Flawless full and clear mono sound indicating that this copy has been played just a few times on top-quality equipment only. My careful play-check found absolutely no trace of any groove/playwear, background interference or even a single tick, pop or click on or between any of these amazing tracks. You won't be disappointed.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A vivid, vibrant & firm example which retains all of its high-gloss laminate bearing just two tiny faint' thumbnails' and a few light spine wrinkles. There are tiny bruises to the corners but no wear or damage to either opening edge. The rear panel is overall clean and unfaded with the only significant blemishes being a few aged fingermarks.
All flipbacks are clean and fully intact and both seams & the fully laminated/worded spine are smooth, unstressed & undamaged.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD +
There is some age-toning to the paper & the disc's catalogue number is written on one side. However, there are no seam splits or tears.
