Up for bid is a rare 13 LP box set, "The Beatles Collection." This was released by EMI / Parlophone (BC 13) in the UK. All LPs play with minimal surface noise except for a couple that are noted below (and even those LPs play with light surface noise). Most LPs in this set appear rarely played.

Abbey Road - LP is VG++, with a couple of tiny faint scuffs on side 1 with no spindle wear. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG++, with no seam splits and a light scuff on the back. Corners remain sharp. Colors are still bright and the front and back retain a nice gloss. Jacket is extremely clean.

Yellow Submarine - LP is a solid VG+, with tiny faint  scuffs on either side. There is no spindle wear. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss.There is a couple of areas on the interior label of side 1 in which the gloss is missing. There is no damage to the label itself, it just appears a small area of gloss is missing, perhaps a pressing defect. Jacket is VG++, with no seam splits. There is a small light scuff on the front next to John's head. There are a couple of very small areas of wear along the lip of the jacket. Corners remain sharp. Colors are still bright and the front and back retain a nice gloss. Jacket is extremely clean.

With the Beatles - LP is a solid VG+, with tiny faint  scuffs on either side. There is no spindle wear. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is a solid VG+, with no seam splits. There is a couple of light creases along the spine on the front and back of the jacket. There is a small spot of wear along the lip of the jacket. There is a small indentation along the spine. Corners remain sharp. Front and back retain a nice gloss. Jacket is extremely clean.

Rubber Soul - LP is NM, with no scuffs, scratches, or spindle wear. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is a solid VG+. There are no seam splits, however there is a small tear on the spine near the center (this is not a true seam split, but a tear - see pictures). There are a couple of very small areas of wear along the lip of the jacket. Corners remain sharp. Colors are still bright and the front and back retain a nice gloss. There appears to be one tiny spot of discoloration on the back of the jacket - there is no residue around this area, looks to be a pressing defect. Jacket is extremely clean.

Beatles for Sale - LP is VG++, with several tiny faint scuffs on side 1 and no spindle wear. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss.Gatefold jacket is a solid VG+, with no seam splits. There is a crease in the top and bottom corners of the spine. There are a couple of small areas of wear along the lip. There is a couple of small scuffs on the back of the jacket. Colors are still bright and the front and back retain a nice gloss. Jacket is extremely clean.

Rarities - LP is VG++, with several tiny scuffs on either side and no spindle wear. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG+, with a tiny tear along the spine (once again, this is not a true seam split but a small tear). There is wear along the spine. There is visible scuffing on the front and back of the jacket. Front and back retain a nice gloss.

Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band - LP is a solid VG+, with no spindle wear. There is a light but visible scuff on side 1. There is a small pressing defect - there is a small bubble in the vinyl during the instrumental buildup about 3/4 the way through "A Day in the Life." This area plays through with a couple of light tics but no skips. Gatefold jacket is a solid VG+, with no seam splits. There are a couple of small areas of wear along the lip of the top portion of the gatefold. There is light scuffs on the front, back, and interior portions of the jacket. Colors are still bright and the front, back, and interior retain a nice gloss. Jacket is extremely clean.

White Album - LP 1 is VG+, with light scuffs on either side and no spindle wear. There are several small light scratches at the beginning of side 2, that cause about 30 seconds of light tics, but no skips. There is a small area on the interior label on side 1 in which the gloss is missing - perhaps a pressing defect? LP 2 is a solid VG+, with light scuffs on either side and no spindle wear. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Includes four mini posters of each Beatle, each with no tears or holes. Includes large fold out poster, also with no tears or holes. Gatefold jacket is a solid VG+, with no seam splits. There are small spots of wear along the spine and lip. There is a small wear spot along the top seam of the top portion of the gatefold. There is a small spot of wear along the bottom seam on the bottom portion of the gatefold. There is a small crease along the bottom seam on the front and back of the jacket. There is light scuffing on the back of the jacket. Front and back of the jacket retain a nice gloss.

Let It Be - LP is VG++, with several tiny faint scuffs on either side and no spindle wear. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is a solid VG+, with no seam splits. There are a couple small areas of wear along the lip of the jacket. There is light wear along the spine. There is light scuffing on the front and back of the jacket. Colors on the front remain bright. Front and back retain a nice gloss.

Please Please Me - LP is VG++, with a couple of tiny faint scuffs on side 2. There are light spindle marks on the interior label of side 2. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is a solid VG+, with a couple of light creases along the spine on the front and back of the jacket. There is a small spot of wear along the lip of the jacket. There is light scuffs on the front of the jacket. Jacket is extremely clean. Colors on the front remain bright. Front and back retain a nice gloss.

A Hard Days Night - LP is VG++, with several tiny faint scuffs on either side and no spindle wear. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is a solid VG+, with a small spot of wear along the spine. There is light wear along the lip. Jacket is extremely clean. Colors on the front remain bright. The front and back of the jacket retain a nice gloss.

Help! - LP is VG++, with several tiny faint scuffs on either side and no spindle wear. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss.There are a couple of air bubbles under the interior label on side 1. Jacket is a solid VG+, with no seam splits. There are a couple of small spots of wear along the lip. There is a small spot of wear on the spine. There are a couple of tiny creases along the spine on the front and back of the jacket. There is light scuffs on the front of the jacket. Jacket is extremely clean. Front retains bright colors. Front and back retain a nice gloss.

Revolver - LP is VG++, with a small scuff in the dead wax in the lead in area of side 2. There are light spindle marks on the interior label of side 2. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG++, with light scuffing on the back. Front and back retain a nice gloss. Jacket is extremely clean.

The box containing these LPs is VG+, with visible edge and corner wear, including bottom of box. There is a small tear on the top interior seam of the box (does not affect exterior of box). There are tiny tears at the bottom of the fold out front top portion of the box.
