Description

"Yesterday"... and Today. Mono T2553. Spizer's Book (pp. 135 - 136) identifies two label variations of the Black Capitol Rainbow Mono Pressing. This copy matches the first. You can see this in the type style for the #1 side, the #1 is a San Serif style type face, the next pressing was a Serif style type face. Vinyl is in Very Good Condition. Nice Gloss, some hairline scratches and scuffs but still maintains original shine. Labels look Near Mint, minimal spindle wear, bright crisp appearance. Comes in Original Capitol Inner Sleeve "PE 12-2FS". Cover is in Excellent Condition overall. Top & Bottom seams are tight. Spine seam is intact, but on spine text "Yesterday" is tearing/moving away from spine. Front Cover is nice & white, backdrop shows hint of ringwear near the top part of the jacket. Name is written near the top seam but doesn't go over any text. Faded name also appears ironically on the white space where Ringo's "butcher" portrait is. This comes from the collection of a serious record collector who has the "normal" trunk cover copy. It's very obvious when comparing the two that this is in fact a pasted over "Butcher" cover, and you can clearly see Ringo's Black V Neck. Back Cover looks Excellent, hint of ringwear, but free of any writing. A "3" appears near the RIAA logo. High Bidder to pay postage. Please Do Not Pay Until You Receive My Invoice.
