Fantastic Box Set pressed in 1980 titled, "The Beatles Box From Liverpool". 8 LPs, each in individual jackets with plastic half-moon sleeves, on the EMI/Parlophone label. Each jacket contains a short history of the band during the time the songs on the album were released. These sets were pressed in Colombia, South America and are sealed sets (virgin vinyl). One of my associates found them in a warehouse in Colombia and shipped them to me. Most of the outside boxes are what I would call Near Mint, The vinyl is virgin and has never been played. There are over 125 songs total, some even in mono. Sleeve notes were written by Hugh Marshall, and the content was compiled by Simon Sinclair. The tapes were produced at EMI's Abbey Road Studios in London, and the finished product was authorized by World Records, Ltd in 1980 and pressed on EMI/Parlophone, black labels. The whole package is beautifully done, and the quality is wonderful! Remember, these are 34 years old, and are virgin vinyl. NOTE: this is an 8-LP set in a box, so it is very heavy (about 5 pounds). As a result, shipping is more expensive than shipping a single lp. Please be aware of this, so you are not surprised by the shipping cost, which is $7. Also, I am including insurance in this $7 fee, and I will pay any extra.
