Beatles Blue Box Japan Japanese Collection 14 EAS LP records 1976 MINT Minus
This set is in first class condition.
There is some wear to the outside of the box and some clear tape on the edges of the OBI.
There is also a small split where inner flap joins the box.
If you want pics of these details I will be glad to send them. I just don't have the space to post the images.
The covers are mint to near mint. A couple have a slight rubbing from being in the box.
Notably, Please Please Me as that was stored at the edge of the case.
The LPs are basically mint....no scratches or marks WHATSOEVER and no surface noise.
The interesting fact about this EAS set (that nobody seems to know, or mention) is that Michael Fremer, the high priest of analogue at Stereophile, nominated this set as being superior to the Mobile Fidelity pressings. See last pic.
I am including that copy of Stereophile in the auction.
All the inserts are present, including the general insert for the box itself.
There is a nice color insert for With the Beatles.
The Sgt.Pepper cutout is present, as is the White Album poster and the poster of the pics of the Fab Four.
The is also a large color insert/booklet with Please Please Me (not pictured).
