Description
Atco #33-169 mono. Extremely hard to find album. Atco
held the right to a handful of Beatle songs that
featured Tony Sheridan on leads and then mostly
unknown Beatles songs performing the back-up duties.
Once The Beatles made a splash on the music scene
Atco, along with VeeJay and MGM quickly tried to cash
in on their poplularity and released their early
recordings on singles and long play albums, mostly
unscessful except in the case of VeeJay Records
"Introducing The Beatles" which did quite well. This
album, "Ain't She Sweet" was for the most part a total
flop, thus the rarity of this item. The Swallows,
probably an Atlantic session group, filled out the
remainder of the LP. Oddly timed, the record sold
poorly. This LP is a 1964 compilation LP from ATCO
which has four tracks by The Beatles with Tony
Sheridan and eight additional tracks by the Swallows
(six of the Swallows songs are Lennon-McCartney
compositions). The songs are:

12. The Swallows - From Me To You
Overall condition VG/VG+, A really nice album with
just a little bit of wear on the corners and a very
small "bb" hole.
