THE BEATLES - 'A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'
This scarce UK 1st STEREO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS. 3058
The error is that there is a comma instead of a dot in the printed matrix code at the 9 o'clock position on the side 1 label.
Both labels have the 'Sold in UK...' text with 'The Parlophone Co..' rims
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label.
Matrices: YEX 126-1 & YEX 127-1
Stamper codes: 3/MD & 2/RM
Vinyl weight: 154g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover with the mid-sized front stereo indicator.
Complete with its original poly-lined 'Use Emitex...' inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: VERY GOOD
Both have some spindle marks and wear around the centre holes together with some light handling marks.
Visual: VERY GOOD -
Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy but bear a few noticeable marks on each side. The most significant being a long, non-feelable one on side 1 and a slightly deeper one which goes over the first 3 tracks on side 2.
Audio: VERY GOOD
Played many times with some light background audible on the quieter tracks and some intermittent clicks caused by the aforementioned mark on side 2. However, despite these shortcomings, it is still an enjoyable listen
Cover: VERY GOOD +
Clean & fully intact with light to moderate storagewear, but no major faults.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with light storage wrinkles only.
