Description
When they hit Worldwide fame in 1964, the 78 rpm had become obsolete in Western nations several years beforehand. However they were still produced in India and Philippines. A few copies have recently been discovered in South America too. This is a Philippine’s copy in excellent- condition. Side 1.” I should have known better”. Label is in great condition with a few light spindle marks. Playing surface is VG+. A couple light scuff marks ( which may be able to remove) and a couple very light scratches. Great gloss as per photos and plays great. Side 2 .”And I love her”. Great condition similar if not better than side 1.
Ask any collector or dealer which is the most highly sought after pop memorabilia and without doubt The Beatles is top of the league. Nearly 50 years after splitting up, they are as popular as ever and Abbey Road is currently No 1 in the UK album Charts. A Beatles 78 rpm is now extremely rare , especially at auction on a UK site. Sure there are some “ buy it now” available from India however expect to pay several thousands !
This is a rare opportunity to own a Beatles 78 rpm on a low starting price. Should be a great investment for any collector or investor.
Postage is £5:45 p although it will cost me a lot more in packaging to ensure a safe arrival with insurance.
