Description
Limited edition 45 of their first single, 'Love Me Do,' to mark the 50th anniversary of the song’s release. The special 45 rpm features 'Love Me Do' with 'P.S. I Love You' as the B-side. The sleeve is a replica of the multi-coloured sleeve, and a red Parlophone label in the center of the vinyl.
Catalogue error on the B-side which reads 45-R 4714 and should read 45-R 4949. The incorrect catalogue number refers to a Matt Monroe release back in the 60s, an EMI error which will no doubt make this single a highly sought-after collectible.
Auction also includes a photocopy of the original 'Faulty Stock' recall letter from EMI.
