Beatles 45 Vee Jay 1964 EP PROMO Souvenir of Their Visit to America

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Very scarce Beatles E.P. Promo for sure.

This copy is going to make someone an incredible first copy.  Not NM, but boy, does it present well.

Be forewarned that this copy has two issues that should be considered when bidding.

First, there is white-groove damage to both sides.  That means that even though both sides appear to be in beautiful condition visually, there are a few passages per side that play with brief “pfft” distortion for a split second.

Secondly, I hadn’t noticed it until I flew the photos up into the computer, but there is a very small barely perceptible crack on the lip of the E.P. that traverses both sides.

See photos.

Sleeve:  Excellent. Original company “Singles of Significance” VJ sleeve is muscular-strong, NO SPLIT SEAMS. Full punchy color, both sides.

A generic white sleeve will be provided to protect your company sleeve during shipping.

Vinyl: VG.  Visually VG+.  Read full description in blue above if you haven’t already.

Labels: Strong VG+.  Both labels full 1964 gloss! Side 1 has a light, small stain.  Side 2 (with the larger “Ask Me Why” title) has very light dirtwear.

Plates: Both plates bear the hand-etched delta symbol preceding the catalogue number. Both sides have the “URJ” initials.

Definitely a genuine copy.

If you need to find the perfect gift for your Beatles collector this year, this is it.  But be prepared to be ignored for the rest of the day while they cradle it in their hands, staring into it, and continuously responding to your attempts at getting some attention with a series of sounds that go, “…wuh?”

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)

Check out my other auctions for more hard-to-find vinyl!

Shipping is $4.67 for Media Mail for up to 3 single or double albums, excluding boxed sets within the U.S.  $4.67 covers shipping for up to 5 singles within the U.S.

Winners in all other countries will be charged actual shipping to their locations, so please wait to be invoiced.  You will be quoted for the cheapest shipping to your country that the US post office can afford me.  Please let me know if you would prefer to pay for a faster means of shipping, but do NOT ask me to declare packages as gifts, or any other means of defrauding the postal services.  Much appreciated.

I ship on Mondays and Thursdays.  This means that immediate payments will be shipped out the following morning, and later payments must wait until the first available Monday or Thursday after payment is received.  Please pay within 7 days of the auction ending.  I do leave negative feedback for non-payers.

Money back guarantee if you're not happy with your purchase.
