I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Collectors know that trying to complete this run is going to be a near-lifetime achievement.  “Strawberry Fields Forever” might be the hardest title to track down in any condition, and in fact, this copy was my placeholder for 30 years.  I just recently found a NM copy.

An amateur grading of VG means that the record can be anywhere from broken to cat chewy toy.

A professional grading of VG means “Very Good.”  This copy has lots of original shine, tempered with a moderate amount of light scratches, none that are feelable.

Vinyl: VG/VG.  Get a picture in your mind of a VG record.  This copy is better than that, but not VG+.

Plates: G2/G2.  Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.

Labels: NM/VG+.  Side 1 label looks nearly new.  Side 2 label has a small amount of flaking off.  See photo.

Sleeve: VG+.  Minor wear, NO SPLIT SEAMS.

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
