Description

The Beatles 1967-1970 BLUE VINYL, Winchester pressing from 1978. SEBX-11843. Double LP. Still in shrink. Really beautiful copy, and great for collectors. I’ve heard from a friend and huge Beatles fan that the sound of this and the red vinyl 62-66 version sound much better than other colored vinyl, but I can’t test it to hear for myself.

I inherited this from my late father, and it appears he played it rarely, if ever. It’s a beautiful copy of archival quality. I’ll call it a very conservative “excellent,” but both the vinyl and cover look closer to NM.

Flaws: I don’t generally grade covers, but this one seems to close to near mint. See photos. Looks great in general. I can send more pics on request. There are a couple of paper marks on the vinyl, but no scratches, and certainly nothing you can feel. I am not an expert, but it looks great.

I will entertain reasonable offers, but compared with similar copies on eBay and elsewhere, I think the price is fair. For example, a copy that wasn’t as nice as this one just sold on eBay at auction for $61.00 and another in very similar condition sold for $59.00.

Note that I’m neither a record store nor a big-time seller, so I can’t do returns (but contact me if there are problems and maybe we can work out something). I also don’t have a record player, so i can’t test anything.

In short, please ask questions if you have them. I’ve sold maybe 40-50 albums on eBay, and have heard zero issues, but sometimes fine print is helpful.

Shipped with USPS Media Mail, with the vinyl separated from the cover to avoid seam splits.
