Description
The auction is for the blue box set of the original British 13 albums on
Parlophone or Apple. Gold lettering on box displays signatures of the band
and on the edge a circled L then BC 13 followed by OC 162-53163/53176. The
set covers the entire output of the Beatles as released in England prior to
the breakup. Note that Magical Mystery Tour is missing as it was never
released in England.
Condition: The vinyl is all at least VG+, played a few times on a Linn Sondeck, basically perfect, no scratches or problems. The covers are also VG+, very well cared for. The white album is slightly discolored, noticeable only because it's pure white. The box is VG+, looks new and perfect from the outside. Inside the box at the hinge is a noticeable scuff mark and the paper lining is loose. Note that the hinge works perfectly and everything is intact, the paper lining could be repaired if desired. The scuff looks like some tape was pulled off taking a little of the paper with it. Again the problems are all on the inside of the blue box, overall this a very well cared for box set.
