Description

Here is a copy of the Beastie Boys "Paul's Boutique" Massive Gatefold LP.


The record itself is a rare masterpiece but I am also including the entire marketing package that came with the record. You may see/find another copy of the record but I seriously doubt you will ever hold in your hands the marketing package.

Marketing package includes 3 two-sided postcards, and a fold open hard card stock brochure that explains the record being available in stores July 25th 1989. When you open the brochure it lists the songs, who they were written and recorded by, a marketing overview, release schedule, marketing plan, and pop items (posters, ads, and mailings). This is mint as well as the vinyl.


Vinyl is perfect.
Sleeve has a small, straight notch in the top right corner to specify a promo copy.

The cover folds out to show an (almost) 360° panoramic view as seen from the corner of Ludlow and Rivington streets. As can be seen by the keen eye in the cover and sleeve art, the address that is supposed to be 'Paul's Boutique' (but can clearly be identified as Lee's Sportswear by the top sign) is on 99 Rivington St., where Rivington intersects Ludlow in NYC's Lower East Side Currently in this building is an eatery named 'Paul's Boutique' in honor of the album - the album was not named after an actual place as may be expected.

Has been in a plastic protective sleeve since I received this in 1989.
