The Beastie Box Collectors series #3

For those not in Beastie Boys collecting circles, here is a brief history of how the items you are viewing were acquired. Top Beastie Boys collectors around the world contributed to the discography at Beastiemania.com, collections were amassed by individuals, information was shared freely, and there was much rejoicing. Three of the four largest collections existing (to my knowledge) belonged to myself, Astrobboy, and Beastienut. Beastienut and Astrobboy liquidated their collections in favor of a simpler life, and again there was much rejoicing. Prof D and I were the main beneficiaries of the aforementioned liquidation. We were graciously afforded the opportunity to acquire many rare and unique pieces. Both Prof D and I carried on collecting vigorously until his untimely death (RIP with all of my love and respect). Again, fortune allowed me to preserve his collection along with all of the items he had procured from forefathers Astrobboy and Beastienut by purchasing it from his estate. The end result is that I have now combined and cataloged all 4 collections. The considerable overlap of duplicate releases has allowed me to offer this gem for auction.
This one is for the Paul's Boutique Fan who has EVERYTHING!!! Only 2 of the 5 hand numbered TEST PRESSINGS on clear vinyl for this this release have surfaced among collectors. 5 test pressings were created (this is one of those 5), followed by 10 copies on marble vinyl (numbered 1-10 of 1000), and then another 990 numbered copies 8 different solid color 7" vinyls. This copy includes a 2 page test pressing report from the manufacturer. This copy is in mint condition and has never been played. It comes with the test pressing report from the manufacturer. I am including one of each of the standard 7" color vinyls as a BONUS so you can keep the TEST PRESSING in mint condition.

Notes: 8x 7" Clear Vinyl Singles housed in a box set. Released in December 2011.
This version has a printed box as opposed to earlier copies of the release copies which have stickered boxes labeled as Test Pressing # __. This would seem to indicate that they were sold after the release was issued and stored in the newer boxes. Only two of the 5 test pressing box sets have surfaced, and none of the test pressings have been found for sale outside of a compete set of all 8.
The box set comes with a Test Pressing Quality Control report (Page 1 / Page 2).
Each single is contained in a black sleeve and contains alternate versions of tracks from Paul's Boutique.
Tracks 2,11,15,18 were taken from a live recording on May 22nd 1992. Track 5 is actually taken from a live recording on March 4th 1995. Track 19 was taken from a live recording on October 9th 2004.
