Description

This is the 2xLP Canada pressing of Ill Communication from 1994. Check my other listings if you are looking different versions.

For Collectors...  This one had 3 different pressings in 1994 from the jump...

The first was pressed in the US by Capitol with sleeves printed in the US with the catalog number C1 7243 8 28599 1 8. It was pressed on 112g vinyl. It is the one that you commonly hear about being pressed on "Translucent Brown" vinyl.
The second version is a vinyl pressed by Grand Royal / Capitol in the US with Sleeves from CANADA on green 130g vinyl.
The third version is the same as the second version but pressed on black vinyl. THIS IS THE VERSION I HAVE FOR SALE. It is listed as Canada because that is where the jacket was printed. Although the "translucent brown" effect on this one is not nearly as noticeable as the first version (because the vinyl is thicker) you can still see it when you hold the vinyl up to the light. This was relatively common for records released in the early 90's, and was not advertised as a limited or special edition. I understand when collector's get excited when they notice that the vinyl is see through when held up to light, but don't pay more for a colored version that is really just black vinyl with a manufacturing difference. The differences listed above are the only 3 vinyl versions pressed from the US in 1994. The corners of the jacket are slightly dinged, and there is some minor shelf wear. The vinyl has no scratches, but you can tell that it has been handled/played.

If you are interested in collecting Beastie Boys vinyl from any era, you should add me to your favorite sellers list. I'm beginning to list the items I have for Ill Communication in the next couple of weeks with great copies of the ALL the singles, the album including foreign pressings and re pressings, and limited editions.
For international buyers, the package weight is 1.5kg. I will ship it however you like, but do not bid based on the shipping cost of $4.00 USPS Media Mail.
