Description
This item is The Beach Boys 1966 release of "Pet Sounds". The cover is still in original shrink wrap, and is in great condition. It is the (I think) West coast version with the number 6 printed next to the RIAA logo in the bottom right of the back cover. I would grade this record VG+, and I grade strictly.
The original inner sleeve is there. There are some scuffs, but no real scratches. Side one has the scuff and plays very nice, but does have a bit of surface noise here or there. Still a very enjoyable listening experience. Side two plays even better. Nothing to complain about at all. The original inner sleeve is about VG with a 50% seam split on the bottom.
History: I am the second owner of this LP. I got it in the mid 1970's. It has been kept in a box and almost not played, as I have owned the CD version for many years. I am old and it is time to pass this on to someone who loves The Beach Boys and vinyl records as much as I do.
This item should probably sell for $150.00 due to rarity and condition(especially of the jacket in shrink) .Some people have asked even more for lesser condition. Trust my feedback. Thanks for looking.
