Description
Up for auction is Balalaika Favorites played by the Osipov State Russian Folk Orchestra. This famous record was the first recording made in the Soviet Union by Americans. It was originally issued by Mercury Records as part of its famed Living Presence Series.
This pressing was issued by CLASSIC RECORDS as part of its 45 Series. The set consist of four (4) one-sided LPs pressed on heavy-weight vinyl. The first LP is housed in the picture jacket, while LPs 2 through 4 are simply housed in blank white cardboard sleeves. Note the picture jacket is slightly different from the stock photo show for this auction.
This set was purchased by me in New/Sealed condition from Acoustic Sounds Records several years ago. The first LP was played once, the remaining three LPs are unplayed! This LP set is basically in Brand New condition. The LPs and jackets are all in MINT, Flawless condition.
